The Colorado Rockies Swept The Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks
Clint Hurdle trusted his instincts throughout the series and almost every move he made worked in the Rockies favor. I personally was against the 4th inning pinch hit that sent up Seth Smith; however, Smith blooped a two-out double that scored two. Later in the inning Matt Holliday hit a 3-run home run to put the Rockies up 6-to-1.

The Rockies continued their success bringing their current streak up to an unbelievable 21 wins in 22 games. This continued success has been the brilliance of Hurdle and the fact that the players know what their roles are.
There is no reason that the Rockies cannot continue this success going into the World Series, no matter who they play. The Rox showed throughout the playoffs that they were the best representative for the National League.
Next up for the Rockies, an eight day layoff that may see them go down to their Arizona spring training home. If they can keep the edge that they brought into the playoffs they have a good chance of wining the World Series.
